Greenstone Pounamu Carving
Under Tony's guidance, you
create a greenstone (Pounamu) pendant or touchstone carving.
Hard Stone sculpture requires expensive diamond tools to work the stone but the effort put in is rewarded by the sense of accomplishment in producing a wearable piece by the end of the one day workshop.
Tony Logan
Tony Logan has been a hard stone sculptor and carver for over fourteen years. During that time he has exhibited in both north and south islands. He has won a prestigious national award and collectors from all over the world have bought his work. Tony's studio overlooks part of the garden set in a very tranquil valley, a short distance from the surf beach. Tony and his wife have a large, organic garden and a menagerie of animals
