Pollok Co-op: arts and crafts.
We stock a wide range of arts and crafts from quality paintings, prints, photographs, and cards, to ceramics, glassware, fabric art, woodware, jewellery, and knitted and woven goods. We also stock free range eggs, organic preserves, cereals, honey, soaps, and therapeutic ointments. A co-operative of six local artists
We are a co-operative of six local artists, and our founding philosophy is to support local artists, especially those living on the Awhitu Peninsula. All our range is vetted for quality before going on display, and is currently mostly sourced from within the Franklin district. We are therefore proud of the fact that our products are a unique reflection of our equally unique environment.
Sculpture Garden
We now have a Sculpture Garden right next to the gallery. Here you can enjoy a freshly ground cup of coffee while you wander round the gardens. On display we have a wide range of outdoor art: large wood and ponga carvings, some exquisite stainless steel pieces, corrugated iron fence art, glass mosaics and cute ceramic creatures. We also stock decorated pots, pumice and driftwood art, wooden plant holders, and outdoor furniture.
Our current hours are:
Winter: Thursday to Monday: 10.00am to 4.00pm
Summer: Seven days: 9.30am to 5.00pm
