Introduction
If you are looking for a "taste" of art and food in Awhitu, then you have come to the right place.
Tastes Creative is offering a variety of courses taught by local artists to give you a "taste" of that artist's talents. These "tastes" courses will be offered in many mediums from felt making to painting, ceramics, mosaics, eco-dying and paper making through to food art, body work and making herbal remedies.
Pre-registration will be required for each class with a maximum limit of 10 people per session. Students will have the option to sign up for individual classes or a full four session term which is offered at a discount. Individual classes will cost $45 and the four session Term will cost $120.
Each course will be held on a Saturday at the Art Barn, Orua Bay and will begin at 10 am for four hours. A light themed tapas lunch by Liz LaSorsa, our local culinary genius is included.
